That might be considered unfair but not dishonest. What Porsche does in terms of prices is out there for the public to see and make their own decision. People make not like it but they're not hiding anything.
If you are clearing rev ranges and putting a sticker or note on the car saying such that would better equate to what Porsche is doing. One wouldn't have to say what information was cleared but at least it wouldn't be done without some sort of recognition - and that would next raise the question that if there was nothing of significance to clear, why would you clear it???
I'm not being anybody's conscience but from a legal perspective the two scenario's are not anything alike. I sure wouldn't be admitting it on a net forum if you know what I mean.........
