So am I doomed to run to dealer every time I change tires?
Your dealer cheated you. You have to change TPMS settings when you switch wheels and tires (summer or winter) to get the system to reset itself and then reacquire new values from the sensors. The only other reset is to disconnect and reconnect the battery, it forces a sensor relearn but will still show up wrong if the right wheel size and tire type isn't connected. Then once it's in re-learn mode, you just drive around for about 30 minutes to send the error away and bring the values up.

Until you do the relearn your add-air errors and wrong tpms values will be persist.
