Yup--I run hard and relatively fast (given street tires, a stock suspension, etc.).
The pyrometer is a great idea--I have one, and use it often to see if I have done enough driving around to cool down my discs.
I'm giving some thought to Ferodo pads--I'll post another question about those, though.
