Can you open them with the switches inside the car? Might be a fuse if you can't. Otherwise I'm not sure if you can still lock and unlock your car with the key.
Have you tried the other key to see if it might just be your everyday use key? Maybe the leads got wet and there is corrosion on them to prevent them from sending a signal.
