Suneet beat me to it. He's right on the money. What you are describing sounds like a vibration caused by too little or too much preload. See my install article, step 13.

If you would like to determine whether or not your system was replaced with a 2nd gen system, take a look at this post so you can tell the difference. Once you know those difference, hit your knees behind your car and you will be able to identify the vintage pretty easily.

The system does sound nice, doesn't it.....?
