Yeah there definately is, I keep finding sports wheels for tips in my search for one for manual. Not sure if I'm supposed to post ebay links, but if you do an ebay search for "Porsche 987 Tip Steering" you'll find some. I believe the part number for the tip sports wheels is 997.347.804.40 "XXX" where XXX determines the color/trim. I believe "FOA" is code for black leather. Just a forewarning that the part # could be wrong, just is what I came across during my searching.

I have the smooth leather sport steering wheel (not XPA) and looked at the pictures of the two wheels side-by-side. For me, I couldn't justify the increase in cost for the XPA for the possible marginal increase in comfort. I just can't imagine it's that noticeable.
Thanks for the response genxr, I'm having those feelings as well, kind of like "how much better can leather really feel for $700?"
