I had a lifter problem this spring. Never determined what caused it because by the time my service dept. got around to checking it in the shop, the problem had resolved itself,and no fault codes were stored.

PCNA refused to authorize tearing down the engine, since the problem had resolved itself and was not reproducible. They changed my oil (again) thinking it might have been a particle in the oil. I haven't had any recurrence since then.
