Fantastic driving route on 109 between NH state line and Snabornville, NH

I had an amazing drive last Friday night in route 109 in NH. I supposed to take route 16 to Mt. Washington in NH, but I missed my exit so I ended up taking route 109 in ME from I95. Route 109 in ME is boring, unless you like to overtake a lot of slower cars, but than you cross right over the NH/ME state line and curves, dips, hills, twists are just fantastic until you hit Sanbornville, NH. The constant mystery of what is around the bend or the hill!!! It was AWESOME. The 10-15 or so miles went by so quick, I wanted to turn around and do it again. Unfortunately there were people waiting for me at the lodge and motion-sickness prone wife was sleeping in the passenger seat.

What else do we have in Boston area that is that deserted and fun?
