I have only been there once because one of the local Boxster owners lived near Stead and he took me over to meet the service manager, Eric Schaefer. That was about 6 years ago. They had a good reputation back then. Schafer is still the manager. But someone recently gave Stead a negative review.

I have no personal experience with Stead and do not know their mechanics. A local 2003Boxster owner just went over there to have his OBC turned on and a few mechanics tried but could not figure out how to do it. We have been turning it on for 4 years. I have a PST2 and I can turn it on, so the local owner is coming over to my office. The local owner even had a printout of the instructions on how to turn it on. Makes me wonder.
