Good memory! I looked on the F1 website and BMW did win in 1983 but then TAG took 1984/85/86 and then competed one last year in 1987 but that's when the good ol' Honda turbo's started dominating (wouldn't Honda love to go back to the 1980's?!). I remembered the BMW motor well because I have an old Road&Track article with it in the Benetton. The stat's were fantastic! Thx for bringing back the Porsche relationship - I originally didn't link Porsche with TAG.
