My autobahn experience a couple years ago was a diesel Hertz rental, albeit a BMW 3-series. I've enjoyed Munich many a time but have not ventured far outside it. That said, the price and deposit and then the long wait for vehicle return may not be worth it to me. My countdown to October is already started.

I also noted GatorBite's analog speedometer was set up for km/h - I suppose they have to replace it with the English units speedometer.
