I kinda like it. Its trying some new stuff and overall I think its successful. The rear looks a little cheap, and it certainly isn't a Cayman. The car definitely looks more sophisticated without the old front nose on the Exige. And if it can handle anything like an Exige,.. and with similar power to weight, then the car is a welcome addition to our World.

How can it be a 2+2 and be mid engine? The front wind screen comes so far forward, so it MUST be mid-engine.

The last thing I want to see are more new, hi tech designed front-engine sports/GT cars.

Powered by a 3.5-litre V6 producing 280 PS, the new car employs innovative lightweight chassis technology to ensure visceral all-round dynamic performance, in keeping with the great Lotus tradition. Even in the very early stages of development testing, Lotus ride and handling engineers report that it is considerably faster around the famously demanding Nürburgring circuit than the Elise and more stable at speed than the Exige.
