Have to admit I prefer the old over the new, the redesign reminds me of a lot of other cars currently on the street, and it kind of loses that factor that makes it "distinctly lotus". My personal reaction while looking at the side profile is as follows: Rear quarter panel brings corvette to mind, center cabin windows/windshield reminds me of koenigsegg, front end slope slightly reminds me of ferrari. Previous generations all sections spoke "lotus" loud and clear to me. Maybe I'm just resistant to change, but I do not see any of these changes as styling improvements.
