NYCayman, if you're doing the DE or AutoCross events, the club will have some loaner helmets available if you don't want to make the $300 or more commitment to getting a Snell SA2005 rated helmet.

However, if you go the loaner route, I highly suggest you get a balaclava like this:

MOMO Professional Open Balaclava-Stable Energies

Basically a head sock to use with the loaner helmet. Trust me on this.
