Why does everyone keep telling me...

to go ahead and get the Cayman and "get it out of my system now." What exactly am I getting out of my system?

Albeit, these comments are coming from my parents and their generation. And mind you, my Dad had a 1966 Jaguar E-type so he can't say he didn't do the same thing when he was in his 30s.

Luck guy, you can already buy a porsche in your 30s. I had to wait 25 years for my dream to come true

There's some kid here who's 20 who's getting one...

I'm not married, no kids, company stock price has gone nuts over the last few years, thus the means for my getting a Cayman.

hsjb,

Good for you! Live life and have fun. Sometimes I see these old people (like me) come to Hawaii on their very first trip. I know they must have dreamed about coming here having saved all their hard earned dollars. What i find sad though is that they aren't getting to enjoy their visit as much as they would have if they were still in their 30's. They often look at the beach instead of swimming in the ocean.

Happy are those who dream dreams and are ready to pay the price to make them come true . . . . in our case, the price is around $70K with options. :-)

Speedy.. I like that line, very impressive..

Some people are just fortunate enough to afford cars like these in their late teens/early 20's.. others had to work hard for many years to afford a car like this.. But no matter what their age, whatever they had to go through, whatever sacrafices made, Im sure it will all be worth it for every single one of us, once we get behind the wheel of our very own Porsche.

Nope, I think there's someone else. However, you will probably be the youngest person to own a Cayman. Now we need to find the oldest.
