Coolest car in the group:
Robert Stacy's 07 Cayman
Second coolest car:
Craig Hunt's 97 Land Rover Defender.
If I could get a second car right now, I would do my best to track down a Defender. I believe only 500 were imported into the US. They still sell for over 35k.

You are referring to the Defender 110, which is a 4 door long wheelbase Defender. The Defender 90 is far more common in the US, although resale values on those are still pretty high too, since they haven't been imported here since 1997.
BTW, the D110 was first produced in 1984. So with the rolling 25 year exemption on EPA compliance for importation, I'd look for re-sale values on the D110 to start dropping steadily beginning in 2009. Get yourself a Series Land Rover instead!

I drive a 2007 Cayman S
It caused much stir that my car is better than theirs, although they have multiple cars and earn way more than me, probably three times as much or more and yet I have my dream car
My CEO drives a Mercedes S-600. I'm not worried about him. It's our VPs that would probably not like the fact that I drive a Cayman S. I have kept my car a secret. I can see my choice to buy this car really causing me problems with them.
How about you VP's, CEOs and Managers. What would you think if your employee showed up to work in a Cayman S?
My boss drives a Cayenne - don't think he knows about my Cayman, but has seen my '99 SAAB 9-5 wagon. Not sure how he'd feel if he saw the Cayman but I'm sensitive to the fact that it could send the wrong message. I've had two strangers admire the car and ask me how much - two times I asked them to guess and both guesses were over $100k.
Perceptions and reality frequently don't mesh. Not everyone is a car nut.
