What would Porsche have done differently? (US)

I was just wondering what kind of things Porsche had to do differently to bring the car to the US market. Being a very performance/racing oriented company I'm sure that they would have done at least a few more things if they could. (Not talking about Cayman vs. 911 issues)

1. Most performance car manufacturers have to make some concessions with regards to the exhaust to fit into a certain market. Whether it be to appease the current legislation or the current populace.

2. I don't think that they would have put the bumperettes on the backs of our cars if they could have helped it.

Just curious, and asking politely.

Why was this post moved to "Automotive Off Topic"?

I realize that I am fairly new here and I still obviously don't have everything down here. I keep getting posts moved. But with this topic I was pretty sure that it belonged in the Cayman Chat section. I am asking specifically about the Cayman. and the description of the forum states "General conversation about the Cayman".

Please help me qualify my future posts cause this forum has a lot more sub-forums that most that I am used to and I keep getting posts moved.

Thanks.
