I was thinking in general terms; People who buy a Cayman S most likely have a history of owning sports cars. What is your history of sports car ownership ? My first sports car was a 1958 Alfa Romeo Gulieta spider that I purchased in the winter of 1973. That was followed by: 1973 Spitfire, 1973 TVR 2500, 1968 Jag XKE, 1967 Porsche 911S, 1960 Austin Healy 3000, 1963 Porsche 356, 1968 Jag XKE FHC (still with me), 1968 TVR Vixen, 1964 Mini Cooper, 1967 TVR Vixen (the veryfirst one), 1967 Grifith 600 (one of three built), 1978 TVR 3000S, 1975 Pantera (still with me but being sold to buy the Cayman S). Since 1973 there has always been a sports car in my life. I love it...
Besides the Cayman S, I have a 2006 Mini Cooper S at my disposal (hers) - which is a really neat car to zip around in! And Oh yah a loaded boatof a cara 2004Chryler Concord LXi (company car) as my daily driver
Off Topic, but!
I know the Cayman S is just as fast, but the M3's first two gears made it feel faster (plus torque at lower RPM and a less lazy trottle)! I may have to De-Snorkel just to improve throttle response!

Well, I wouldn't say a sports car has to be a two-seater, seeing as how the 911 has '4' seats. And using a 4-door exclusion criteria would rule out the Evo and STI, which I personally consider sports cars.... Difficult to define the term 'sports car,' I guess. Although I don't personally consider Civics sports cars either.
