You can expect everything! Great organization, monthly magazine, you'll probably be part of the Chicago Region who undoubtedly will host numerous social & driving events. Look up their website, contact them. Or find out when their next event is, show up and tell them you're a new member. The process to get your membership activated and Region notified that you're a new member is painstakingly slow.
I concur, and I'm probably biased but it gives you a great resource for your Cayman and you'll meet new people. Each region is different but what seems to be consistent is that you get out of it what you put into it! Enjoy!!!
I had to call them to get my password for the PCA web site. The mailed version took about three weeks. PCA events are great and are what the members make them so get out and participate.

i just joined and i guess i expected a little more from the PCA website. maybe im just spoiled from caymanclub. i will say that my local chapter contacted me almost immediately and i am going to go to a local meeting next month and drivers ed this fall. looking forward to meeting other porsche owners and finding out more about porsche in general.
