I think the feature that caught my eye when I first saw it was the side air intakes. They are much more dramitic than the Boxster as they have verticle slats vs horizontal on the Boxster, but it is the sweep below the intakes that finishes it off. That give the intakes a flow with the body of the car instead of just being there.I hope that makes sense.
That is just one thing I love about the car, there are more!
Side scoops integrated with the extra lower side fenders (I agree w/ you RussK) and mid-engine dynamics! The set of rear fender humps is also an eye-catcher... definitely a nod to the exotic cars of today and yesterday!
The rear fender humps are definitely my favorite. On the other side, I really dislike the fog lamps integrated in the front bumper. I think the bumper would look really great without them.
Mid-Engine, unique design,a Porsche and should bereliable and practical daily driver. I can see keeping it forever as a third car but at this point have no idea what I'd ever move 'up' to. Maybe an '09 model with MORE of all of why I'm buying this one!
And all of this is without even driving or seeingthe car in person! Just think some you us will actually be able to sit inone in a matter of weeks. We will get our showroom car early December, until then we can still dream!
