Ok here's a Cayman math problem based on real life figures.
Cayman A has driven 690 miles and is averaging 8.12 miles per day driven, Cayman B driving the same road has driven 278 miles and is averaging 18.53 miles per day. Assuming the current daily rates stay the same, in how many days will Cayman B pass Cayman A?
Hmm, the difference between 690 and 278 is 412, Cayman A (let's say it is Guards Red) is 412 miles ahead. Cayman B ( this one is Lapis Blue Metallic) is travelling 18.53-8.12 = 10.41 miles a day farther than Cayman B. Divide 412 by 10.41, and you get 39.58 days, so on the 40th day the blue car will pass the red car.
If you have a new Cayman, why would you only drive it 8 miles a day??
Not a bad idea to order stuff, and Christmas is the right answer.
In case anyone was wondering, that is the day that Russk should become the leading poster here and surpass me in the number of overall posts!
RussK has too much available time on his hands. I hope he owns his own company, and isn't making all these posts on someone elses clock. Just kidding RussK, get back to work.
Looks like the math was a little off, either Russk slowed down or I sped up or a little of both, although the difference is pretty slim, Russk probably hasn't been able to sneak upstairs enough in the last couple of days...
Well Russ went to town the last couple of days and passed me up! Congrats to Russ and more importantly Kudos to his wife to be understanding enough to allow his addiction!
All Hail Russk, the new lead poster on Cayman Club Dot Net!
Well I am not sure if I should be proud or embarrassed . Honest I do have a life outside of the Cayman Club!! Oh, gotta go Tina is meeting me for an early morning run!
