Try going to PPBB and posting something about this website. BAM it will be deleted! Evidently the admin of PPBB (or a deputy) doesn't want people to know this site exists. Robert Grant, a long time PPBB member posted that he had sent us some pics from his training in Atlanta and we'd have them here and folks over at PPBB got all bent out of shape about it, how dare he give pictures to another site and not to them, afterall, according to the admin there, PPBB is the only place people need to go for Cayman information...
What a hoot...
Anyway, give it a try and see how long your post lasts, you can probably count the minutes until it is gone... maybe we should make a game out of it, whose post about Cayman Club will survive the longest on PPBB...
BTW, kudos to Robert for not getting caught up in all that $(#($@ and being nice enough to send over some pics, the ones he sent are huge, like 3-4mb each, so I had to reduce them in size to host them here, if someone wants the super hi res let me know.

Why would anyone go to PBBB for Cayman information? There is no substantive information available on that site for the Cayman, and when the car is discussed inevitably there are negative and defensive comments that squelch any meaningful discussion. The Boxster is a superb car and the Cayman compliments the Boxster as a coupe companion just as the 911 coupe and cab compliment each other. The hostility toward the Cayman and the Cayman Club speaks very poorly for the moderators and many (but not all) of the posters on that site. Let's face it, whether it's justified or not, the Cayman seems to have rattled a lot of Porsche enthusiasts. The intensity of negativity says less about the Cayman than about those who seem to be challenged by its existence. Just my observation, but the overall quality of discussion on PBBB is very poor, the least intelligent of the available Porsche forums. Considerable misinformation, immaturity, and lack of focus (NBC, no boxster content, often represent a majority of the postings) characterize PBBB. When PPBB got started at the outset of 986 production there was a wealth of information and some very intelligent participants.
For anyone wanting to play this game, here are a couple of tips. Pick a handle other than 'bananas', 'Charles Atlas' and 'clubber'.
If you avoid those three, you might have a chance at staying up there for a while.

No, I think Ghost Rider is fine on PPBB, but isn't so good on rennlist.
