Higher power-to-weight ratio than a Porsche 911 Turbo

The 300 BHP Ariel Atom 2
Presenting the 300 BHP Ariel Atom 2 - without a doubt the quickest production car available in New Zealand. Created by combining the Atom 2's optional 2.0L i-VTEC Honda Civic Type R powerplant and a low boost supercharger, Ariel Motor Company have given their superb Atom chassis 600 BHP per tonne of immediately available power. Performance is more than adequate as the television segments from Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear and Tom Ford of Fifth Gear attest.

The Ariel Atom Range
The Atom powerplant options now span 160 to 300 BHP of Honda power with the same layout, chassis and Bilstein-Eibach inboard pushrod suspension package across the range. Whether your custom-built Atom is the base specification or most extreme Atom available, it will handle and provide driver feedback unlike any other road-going vehicle. As each car is custom built to your specifications from a wide range of available options, you can be certain that your Atom will meet your exacting requirements.

The Atom starts with the 160 BHP Atom - a car with a higher power-to-weight ratio than a Porsche 911 Turbo. Outputs of 220, 245 and 300 BHP are also available, ensuring that there is a price/performance match to suit your needs and budget. Regardless of your intended specification or use for your Atom, you can estimate your investment with the Ariel Atom Configurator, available on request.

Cool track toy, but it isn't a real car so comparing it to a Turbo seems a bit odd.

A great (and very fun) track tool but I don't know if I would want to drive one on I5...
