i think it's fake too. just look at how the camera zooms in. how does an onboard camera from a police interceptor zoom in?

I think it's real. The zooming can easily be done in the editting room by the show that aired the video.

While the zoom could be done digitally, you'd lose clarity through pixelization. However, the panning left and right cannot be done in the editting room unless the original field of view was much larger but that doesn't seem to be the case. One easy way to find out, search the newspapers in the town where this supposedly happened, something like this would certainly make the news.

I gave that a shot, and as it turns out it appears to be real. I goggled '+"darryl wilson" +deputy +shannon +wilson'.

The Augusta Chronicle has an article on it, but they want you to subscribe to be able to read it. And www.lineofduty.com seems to be using this incident as a learning experience for police to teach them what can go wrong on a traffic stop.

Anyway, enough of that. I want to read more about Caymans......

Ok so it is real but the video must have been doctored up later.

No the old Boxster sports exhaust was sold with my old Boxster years ago.
