NO! Is that the upcoming XKR coupe? I've seen the XK8's around and I really don't like the new body style, front headlights just aren't agressive enough for me, and the whole car is like a fancy eclipse. - Suneet
1. ian cullum hasnt really tried. has too much of a AM.
2. that mesh grill looks like cheapes aftermarket backyard installation.
3. the front lights really remind me of some other cheap cars (huyndai coupe).
Ken, I am really looking forward to your impressions after driving the XKR.
Had I known about it, I would have seriously considered it along the Cayman S and the M Coupe.
Thanks,

I like it. I hope it catches on. Jaguar is floundering real bad right now and their future pretty much hangs on the sucess of this model.
I think it's a real shame that Ford has ruined Jaguar the way they did and I hope that someone saves the company. I don't think Ford will stick with it.
Too much mesh grillework. A formerly classic touch morphing into a styling gimmick seems to be an unavoidable fact of automotive design. I would delete the chin mesh and that would do it. This Jag is much closer to the new Astons than to the old XK series in flavor. I personally would have stayed "retro" since the XK series were so perfectly shaped and styled.
"Foundering" is sinking below the surface of the water, to fail utterly and completely. "Floundering" is fishing for flounder.
C.G. Mojo: Gator Bite is correct in the use of "floundering" (to struggle to move or obtain footing) although I think either floundering or foundering would be descriptive of Ford's handling of Jaguar. I learned to drive in a Mark VII saloon and have a special affinity for the breed, however, I can't get excited over the XKR.
