I just saw the Bond movie...It was ok... better than any Dalton or Brosnan Bonds. not to a Sean Connery level yet.
I was in awe of the AM DB9 wow what a looker. Not hat I would give up my Cayman, but this had to be a close 2nd.........
Any one have any experience with one?
Well considering what they did to the one in the movie you might be able to pick one up cheap! I think they are a damn sexy car baby yeah! I liked the movie too, more character dev that recent bond movies...
Honestly... people need to quit talking about Connery like he's a god or something. They could have the most bitchinest Bond ever, and people would say, "He's no Connery". This was my favorite Bond movie for sure. The key that made it better is that Craig played Bond like a stone cold killer. Awesome.
Also, I believe I just made up the word 'bitchinest'.
I have yet to see CR (having 2 young children doesn't allow me to visit the movie theatre too often - I'll probably catch it on DVD), but as a huge 007 fan I'm glad to hear the producers moved away from the formula that the recent Brosnan Bond films banked on - namely, lots of unrealistic action with little character development. Plus, the last Brosnan film, Die Another Day, was IMO almost painful to watch, with the gobs of poor CGI and outlandish, recycled plot. Starting a helicopter in midair after falling out of a plane? Please!

Sorry bro but you didn't invent the word: bitchinest

The AM in the movie is the DBS, a 12 cylinder, that will be a step above the DB9... $200-250k+ versus $160k.
I test drove the V8 Vantage, another beautiful car, but for its $120k, there are some better choices. The car handled fine, but just lacked the performance for the price. Being the first year car, it also had questionable build quality and mechanical glitches that should be fixed for the 07.
I, for one, miss the old bond movies. The new 007 movie is a great movie as a spy movie, but it isn't a bond movie. Gone are all the things that would make it a bond movie. No sexist innuendos, no "***** galore", no gadgets, etc. It's basically another bourne identity or mission impossible film now.
I am in the UK for Christmas visiting family and I went to see it on Christmas Eve with my brother and sister. I thought it was very good. I much prefer the edgier and more realistic approach to the franchise. It felt more real to me. I thought Craig did a fantastic job and the chase and fight scenes were excellent. It was good to see Bond a bit "out of his depth" and slightly unsure of himself...and it was good to see him take a beating also. It felt real to me. Less gadgets, less womanizing, more character development, and more realistic action.
