C.Shultz had this wonderful reoccurring skit which consisted of Snoopy dancing around in bliss at the mention of suppertime -

...this is what i've been doing inside since my first AX run about ten hours ago. my mind swarms with Porsches, ears tweak with the scream of tires, and every part of my body is vibrating. sweet.

different degrees of satisfaction?

Posted 11-03-2007 at 05:34 AM by grrlsix
another article bringing up the CS vs. C debate/rant. there are some truly great comparisons and well thought out arguments on this site. this may be a disclaimer.

i am so proud to have a Porsche, our first Porsche, but still all of this talking out of the sides of mouths bothers me. although many of the threads include wonderful and logical points, they are not always the most positive toward Base owners. i tend to shrink back a bit when people go on and on about how much better...

After waiting years I found the car of my dreams. An Artic Silver Cayman S. Almost bought a ZO6. So glad that didn't happen.

yesterday, i was asked why not have our dealer do the Cayman's oil change. why? and i had to think on it. i mean really, why not? we are a bit frugal, as of need and whim, but not that frugal. and then the image of their hands, and her fluids... no, not that kind of image, but more one of the dog baring its teeth. there is something about this car. perhaps because she is our first Porsche (something this one has always dr0oled a bit over)... because of the whole swapping out the short shift...

Watkins Glen trip report

Posted 11-01-2007 at 12:32 AM by PistolPete13
Back from a 6 hour drive and I'm still in one piece. There was one other Cayman S at the event but several 997 Turbos in the beginner group and a few 2007 Z06's.

I was driving my 2007 Infiniti G35s 6-speed sedan (the family hauler). My Cayman S is still on the boat right now.

The Infiniti had 7600 miles and should be well broken in.

The first day was cold! 29 degrees in the morning with winds and never got up past 50 degrees during the day.
