Tourist Delivery - Day 1

OK, so it's finally here. The day I've been waiting for for months. I could barely sleep last night, anxious with anticipation, dying from 9 hours of jet lag caused by a back to back trip from San Diego to Hartford to Stuttgart. But that's all irrelevant. I feel like I am dead on my feet and dying to sleep, but the anticipation is too much. I was up every couple of hours last night looking at the clock like a kid on Christmas eve. The morning finally arrives.

I wake up long before...

Exhaust Rattle

Hi all
Cayman S has developed an exhaust vibration only when cold between 2100-3000 rpm.
Anyone got any idea what this is??

went out for a long drive with the grrlfriend last night. mayhaps you spied us cruising through San Mateo or up and down 280. at last, road zen.

the short shifter is going to take some getting used to. it was swapped out when we hit 2,500mi and the stock shifter was just broken butter in. we are having a fun issue - our feet are now slower than our shifts. heh.

i am thinking about adding some text to the pictures i've posted of the new setup, but i am at a loss for...

A dilemma...

I'm quite grateful that this blog and this forum exists because there's no other place I'd want to talk about cars like this forum. Thank you, Ken, for having the idea for a Cayman forum.

I know how it feels to create something and for other people to use it because I once owned/operated a BBS (bulletin board system - old name for forums) back in the mid 90's. It wasn't as focused as this site - it had its uses.
