A Cayman S in my future

Posted 10-04-2007 at 03:54 AM by go4it
You've probably guessed already that I am without a Cayman S, probably one of a few that actually participate in discussions on this forum. So I bet you're wondering what I'm doing here?

What I've learned is that if you want to have what other people have, hang around them long enough and you'll get what you want. It's a matter of association. This goes for a better mindset, attitude, your relationships, what you do for money, and most relevant to this forum, the car you have....

torn about the application

two days and i have not driven the Cayman with the new SSK yet.

my knee still makes me hesitant about such things - i wish it would up and heal already. i am tired of restriction. the husband graciously took us around for a sweet test spin (you would think taking someone for a "spin" in a car would not be the most positive of things?) so everything works bliss. i am a little grrl waiting to be tall enough to ride the loop-de-loop, a falcon lashed to the perch, a sleeper....

B&M Short Shift Kit / EVO Link aka PITA

Posted 10-01-2007 at 03:42 AM by grrlsix
ok - so not that i expected it to be cake, or even jello (wiggly!), but installing the Short Shifter Kit/Link is a bizzatch.

biggest issue: removing that trim and console. holy ****. plastic prying tools essential, next time. although using an old credit card seemed to do the trick. *grumble* once the console is up it is just unscrew this and detach that cable, etc. we were actually able to get the boot and shift knob off, so no worries there.

she is sitting outside...
