Just arrived in Osaka for business. Beautiful weather, beautiful city. Would love to meet and chat with some Porsche fans. Even better if I get to see some Caymans of the Nippon edition. I'm staying at the New Otani until Friday (5/16). PM me or respond here if anyone is interested.

After Osaka I'll be in Shanghai for about a week. Those Porsche cars sell for insane prices in China! If anyone in Shanghai likes to meet, let me know too!

i am in shanghai, but my cayman is not arriving till near the end of this year

a slight explanation on the insane price, some of that is because a lot of options are counted as standard here in china:

heated seats, cd-changer, various bits of trims, bi-xenon, climate control etc are all standard, the base tax for imported cars is 28 percent i believe, so that how much we have to pay extra, that plus the cost of shipping the cars thru the dealer of course

Wow! I wish I was in Osaka now. Other than the bad exchange rate you should have lots of fun. I lived their 16 years and had a blast. And Osaka is known for the food being delicious and cheap! You also have to go to nippon bashi they have all the discount electronic shops. Enjoy!
