I'm up for it, we can meet after F1 weekend, or even at the track during raceweekend.

I'd like to pop by, but I haven't joined the club yet. I wanted to join for the trackdays but they were all on Mondays so I gave up (can't take leave from work). I'll be interested to join for 2009 though, this year is almost over already.

You dont have to wait till 2009. The membership fee is unchanged regardless of when you join ie $250.
The monthly membership fee is pro-rated for remaining mths in the calendar year. With lots of social events esp towards year end...this is as good a time as any :-)

Tks ...I think I have a shot of your car too at the Gemballa launch :-) see pics in my sig links below :-)

btw do you live on the east side ...near tanjong katong?

A small digression - how many would be interested in AutoX events if organised? Since we dont have a track and going up NS these days are dicey...would this be a fun thing to do to get our cars used they way they were designed to (in a sporting manner)?

Yes I'll be interested in AutoX. Do you think the Porsche Club will organise these? Or do you know someone else who's thinking of doing it?

I am doing a quick and dirty survey and so far it does seem to have garnered interest from most P owners. Will try to do this under PCS if not then under private arrangement but for P owners. Rent the open space at changi (airshow open grounds...where the D1 was held). Keep it simple but will need some help.

lets discuss further or open a new thread on this to develop the idea

it's be fun to pull off. If you open to other cars too it'd be good. The rental is not cheap, I hear, almost S$20K for the day if I remember right.

As for the meetup I'm game subject to time.
