Aloha, I just had to tell somebody. Yesterday I spent 7 hours detailing my car with Zaino!
Whew!
I washed, clayed, washed, polished, buffed, polished, buffed, polished, buffed.
MY ARMS ARE LIKE RUBBER!
But the CS glows. I finished at 8 pm, under the dim lit carport. The car still had an amazing glow to it.
The Zaino stuff is amazing. If you have a black car, it is highly recommended(my last car was jet black).
I'll try to add pics later.

I had a post just a few days ahead of you, I KNOW what you went through. I wanted to give her the first bath and polish buff, I might hire a pro to do it next time, man it made me feel like I am in poor shape.
Did you do the insdie yet? I have brown nat leather and have yet to condition that, I am kind of scared to. I need to find a spot to try to make sure it does not change the color, it would be very noticable on such a light color.
I also need to do my wheels, but since I am getting the summer wheels put back on in a week I will wait and do the winter wheels when they are off the car. I asked the dealer if I could come by an hour early and do the summer wheels detailing before they install.... the dealer stores my spare set of wheels on site.

Looks puuuurrrrtttyyy!
Thanks
Didn't need to do the inside yet. Since the car is brand new. There was all kinds of **** on the glass inside and out. So I had to totally clean those(glad its a small car).
Definately do your summer wheels before you put em on. Wheels look awesome when they are clean inside on the inner rim. Put tire gel on as well.

I am going to attempt my first marathon of my CS this weekend if weather permits. Do you mind doing a really brief outline of each step you took in terms of specific Zaino products during each step. Something like this:
I Have a midnight blue car. I was on the phone with Zaino Brothers in-between each wax coat making sure I was doing everything correct.
I went to Target to buy FieldCrest towels they recommend.
I washed the car for the first time with Dawn blue, they say it gets rid of any other wax and all the dirt. The first wash was more lather and soft rinse to get it all saturated.
Then I washed it again with Dawn but this time did some scrubbing with a wool mit.
I then used Zaino # 5 and applied with swirl motions at first to prevent zebra stripes then finished off with straight strokes. bumper to bumper direction on top metal and vertical motion on side metal per their recommendation.
I then waited 30 minutes and buffed out by hand with the 100% cotton fieldcrest towel.
I then sprayed a light mist of Zaino #6 and wiped out with another cotton towel.
I repeat the # 5 and # 6 one more time for a second coat.
I then finish off with #2 and buff with a cotton towel.
Each coat of wax, including wait time, was about hour and twent minutes. It took about the same amount of time to do two washes.
I am embarrassed to say that after I finished I did not want to drive it right away.... silly I know but it looked like it was sitting on a show room floor. I just stared at the hood, tail fender, roof and all i could think of is how messy my garage looked because the reflection was so vivid!
