Detailing

Wow, i remeber 20 some years ago spending some time keeping up my 1st car. Since then I have had trucks and use car washes.

I just spent today detailing my car and it took me 6 hours to wash it twice, gentle the first time and a bit more agressive the 2nd.

Then did the Zaino no 5, 6, 5, 6, 2, 6. With all the buffing and etc inbetween.

Sad thing is I still need to do the wheels and inside leather conditiong.

Man am I out of shape, at the end of the day my arms were useless! She has a perty shine though!!!!!

When i finish the wheels, and interior, and then have the dealers put back on my summer wheels (19) and DETAIL THOSE I will post my pics. I was wanting to take some today but I was so caught up on the shine than when I pulled back I noticed how dirty the wheels were.

Detail the summer wheels by using Wheel Wax (sponsor) or some other wax on the interior of them before they get put back on if you can. Your back will say thanks!!

The only way to get into better shape is to continue the detailing work once a week and try to cut the detailing time each subsequent wash.
I don't know if i'm the only one that does this, but i'm pretty sure i'm not. After spending time detailing, i would avoid driving my car on days that forecasted rain. If i was driving and i was approaching a wet spot on the road, i would change lanes or if it was safe to do so, slow down so i don't get sprayed from the car in front of me and not to get overspray from my own wheels.
