Clear Bra installer VA or NC???

Okay, so I'm leaning more and more to the install.

Anyone know of a good installer in Southern or Western Virginia or in North Carolina??

I''d prefer to avoid the DC area unless absolutely necessary.

Clear Bra Installer..

When I bought my 06 CS at Foreign Cars in Greensboro I put the clear bra on before I took delivery. Call the sales rep I bought by car from, Hank Carpenter and ask him to hook you up with the installer that is the exclusive rep for them...I paid somewhere in the neighborhood of $550.00.

I got mine done by Jeff Caldwell (jeff@vacleartech.com) in Radford, VA (about 40 miles south of Roanoke). He's the main man at Virginia Clear Technologies (www.vacleartech.com). You can go to the website and see the patterns they offer for the CS. Total cost was $829, or $899 if you want to get 6" farther back on the hood covered than I got. Jeff's phone number (toll free) is 800-250-1838, ext. 35. He did a good job on mine over a year ago.

I went by Ultrashield today, but the place was locked up. I've got to say that any business with their signs and adverts printed on standard 8x10 paper then scotch-taped to the insides of their shop windows does NOT inspire confidence. Convince me this place is worth looking into. From the looks of it, they might not be there next month if I have a problem!!!

That would concern me as well. I went out there and watched them do an install on a Carrera and they seemed to do a very careful job. I had been warned by our local Porsche dealer about some jobs (installer not identified ) where the installer had left scratches in the paint when the clear bra was trimmed. The younger of the two was just scoring the material and then pulling it apart so as to avoid scratches. I watched a good bit of my install and felt very confident that I received the same care. Some of the front they custom cut to get a better fit. They were recommended to me by Eskaman who also is on the Cayman Club site.

I'm in Norfolk if you would like to check out their work. PM me and we can set up a meet.

Try this # 757-560-6372 or www.Ultra-Shield-HR.com

Good luck and let me know what you decide
