Jack Pads
I recently bought a new Cayman S and want to remove the wheels for cleaning. I need a jack pad. Who makes a good jack pad to fit this car?

I don't use jack pads. I use jack stands that come with a Craftsman Lift-n-secure jack - see article.

Earthquke proof jacking
I live in earthquake country (there was a 5.6 quake 15 miles from my house a few weeks ago). A car sitting on top of hockey pucks could kill me in an earthquake. Does anybody have any ideas for a secure jacking scheme where the car has significant lateral stability? Maybe I need to bite the bullet and get a lift...

Well the Boothe Design jack pads lock into the frame then you put the jack underneat them so they aren't going to slip like a hockey puck could. Personally I prefer the Boothe ones over hockey pucks but that's just me...

Not if you have an eye bolt screwed into the hockey puck. I put a link in one of the lifting threads on how to make that. Don't have time to search it out right now.
