I bought WheelWax a while ago and found it was a bit messy to use because it is very soft, so I stopped using it. Today I decided to put it into a squeeze bottle I had, now it is very convenient to use. Squeeze bottles can be found at detailing websites and probably in kitchen areas of other stores.

LOL. That's just what I did a few years ago when I first started using WW, although I used a left over 8 oz size shampoo bottle. Makes it much easier to dispense onto an applicator. However, it can be a bit messy filling the bottle. Maybe Bruce at WheelWax should consider selling it in a squeeze bottle?


BTW, apart from its advertised use, try WW for removing the rubber marks from a track day, or other grease marks. It works well.

I actually like using a regular synthetic wax (not made for wheels specifically) on my wheels. It may not protect against brake dust as well, or then again it might. But just easier to apply and I found it lasts longer too.

I had been using Zaino or Rejex on my wheels after spending time with a solvent cleaning the wheels. What I like about WW (apart from the smell) is that it's an impressive solvent and removes even stubborn greasy marks from my wheels (or car body), leaving a wax/polish protection, all in one step.

well, not wheel wax specifically, but I use poorboys wheel sealant. Wouldnt do a track day without it

Great idea! I once emailed WW asking if they had considered using a squeeze tube container rather than a tub. No response from them.

I tend to handle the tub like it was normal wax and have had some of it fall out on the floor. Good stuff, but as you say could be easier to use.
