wheel touch up

HELP. Does anyone make some wheel touch up for the carrea 19" gray/or silver colored wheels. Seems the tire shops changers jaws of life tend to take some of the finish off on the inside of the wheel, I would like to keep that touched up. I called Porsche today and they said they don't make a touch up for their wheels. Odd?? anyway, can anyone give me some advice.

I believe that knowlegable operators with the right equipment should be able to change tires without wheel paint damage. The shop that damaged your wheels is liable for repairing them----good luck----and you need to find a better shop.

Shops do this a lot, unfortunately. On my last car I had my wheels gouged during an alignment and I was told that if I had a problem with it I should take them to court. You can bet I don't recommend that shop to anyone. I had a dealership nick a wheel once too and they told me basically that they wouldn't charge me for the service, but thats kinda crappy too in the long run.

Luckily, I found a guy who does professional wheel repair and he is like a magician, I would highly recommend you find a professional in your area and leave it to him/her.

If they did the damage you should have them pay to get them fixed. The touch up paint is o.k. but why should you settle?
