I may have messed up

Since I was going golfing today, I put my bag in the back and my pull cart in the front seat (It would not fit in the back).
I came out this morning to discover that I had made two indentations on the glove compartment door.
They were fairly deep (1/16, 1/8").
After several hours, they are still there. Better than before, but definately there.
Is there any way to get them out. I have heard that if I actually use an iron, and a damp cloth that it will lift the indentation
Any help would be appreciated

Please let us know if your car is leather, or the textured plastic,in affected the area ?

Try a hair dryer. It worked for me on another car. Good luck.

It is plastic or pleather or whatever they call the fake stuff.

Before you make it worse, take it to a professional auto upholsterer, they can work miracles.

Good news for me. I came out this morning, and the two dents had disappeared! I looked close and there is absolutely no sign of the dents.
It tood nearly 48 hours to go away, but I'm thankful it did.
Kor, my next stop was a local shop who did the interior of my 78 450 SL
