Body shop in greater NY area?

Can someone recommend a good body shop for my Cayman? I'm going to need a new nose cap, and probably some work done on the supporting structure beneath it.

Believe me, you don't want to ask what happened

Ok, here're the sad facts. I share a nice big garage with my brother. I park the car with the brake up and in neutral. I start the car to warm it up by standing outside, depressing the clutch, turning the key, and that's it. My brother decided on his own that this is the wrong way to park a car, that it should be in first gear with the brake disengaged. So, when I took my foot off the clutch pedal, the car shot forward and eventually crashed into the tow hitch of the vehicle parked in front of it. Impaled. This has me really freaked out, because the car didn't have a scratch on it. I'm so anal about it that I practically lick the damn thing clean with my tongue.

No, I didn't check that it was in gear or not, because I expect to find my stuff like I leave it.

I suppose it could have been worse. Since I was standing outside of the car when it took off, the rear wheel could've run over my foot.

Am I wrong to blame my brother? I felt like impaling him on the tow hitch.

If you don't mind the drive, head over to Mineola, Long Island and see Matt & Eddie over at Detailing Dynamics. They do bodyshop type work too in addition to detailing.

Detailing Dynamics

Those guys are perfectionists and should be able to help.

Sorry to hear about the problem, I'm sure your brother probably feels worse than you right now!

If you think that the car has sustained some structural damage, make sure the shop has a true Jig Bench (Car Bench or Celette) so they can check for damage. This is the Porsche mandated repair procedure.
