I did 1/2 my car In Griots Best In Show and 1/2 in Meguiars NXT Tech Wax 2.0. Now Before I go any further I must tell you I have been using Griots products and have the whole Dam product line in my garage including the orbital buffer and moblie detail bag so I am a little Biased towards them but my Red Neck Uncle wanted to prove to me his Meguiars was Better.First off the Griots is hard as hell to remove from the car always has been but I always felt it was worth it .how wrong I was .Uncle Rob had his half of my Cayman done in about 10 minutes total time when I was still working on the Hood ..Embarrasing I say he had to help me for over 1/2 Hour with my half of the car to get the Griots 1/2 done. After asking 6 people to come take a look and feel the car and make a choice without them knowing what product was on each 1/2 (like a blind taste test) much to my surprise all 6 chose the Meguiars NXT tech wax. This Product is simply amazing you dab it on the car and it just comes right off and the car feels like a kittens fur.I guess sometimes you got to listen to your RED NECK uncle. My foot is still firmly inserted into my mouth and now I have to live with MR KNOW IT ALL laughing all the way to his single wide Trailer..

Personally I've never been impressed by the Griots stuff, as you said, it is hard to work with and the results were less than stellar. I would easily put Zaino, Zymol, Gloss-IT and P21 way above anything Griot's carries, both in ease of use as well as shine and durability. They have a nice catalog, but you know something has to pay for that every month, which means I also find their products typically overpriced.

Man, I hate hearing this. I have a garage full of Griot's products including Best of Show wax which I find really hard to remove as well. Funny about the red neck uncle, I have a hot rod brother in Pgh. who insists that Meguires is head and shoulders better than B/S. Guess I'll have to move on or at least give it a try. Thank the Lord that my brother lives in Pgh. Man these lessons are hard to take.

I have been using McGuire's products for a while. The Gold wheel cleaner is as good as
P21. I also use McGuire's Yellow 26 Carnuba wax.
I have wondered if all the expensive waxes and products really made a difference.
I just bought NXT on a lark because I wanted to switch over to a Polymer based wax for the longer wax intervals. Yes, it really does go on easy. I'll admit I was moving like a madman, but I washed, clayed, and waxed by hand in about an hour and ten minutes.
When the first NXT wax came out, I went to an import car show and Meguiars was giving it away and challenging the people there to do part of their car with it. Pretty much everyone at the show was amazed by how good it was next to a lot of other popular products.
I used NXT2 a couple weeks ago and its amazing, even better and easier to work with and the level of shine actually surprises you even if you are used to a multi stage process with glazing and waxing with caranuba.
Seriously give NXT2 a try before you say that anything is better, even Zaino/Griots/P21s etc.

If your uncle's cell number has nothing to do with a telephone he may be a red neck!
I use P21 I'll have to try NXT.

+1 What he said. But Speed Shine is my favorite detail spray.
I'm with you on that one Blueone. I like their wheel cleaner too. I've had good luck with the spray on wax as well. That and the speed shine in combo is pretty good in my opinion, but then I'm learning as I go.

Speed Shine is great. I have the spray (at home) and I keep Speed Shine Wipes in the car.
