Need to remove old wax before applying NXT?

I picked up some NXT 2.0 the other day but it doesn't say in the instructions if you have to remove traces of old wax before applying it. Does anybody know if it is required? Thanks.

I'm pretty sure it can go over any type of wax. Supposedly some guys use it at concours events as a last minute touch up over a carnuba base.

You don't NEED to, its just that the wax on your car can be dirty and so removing it ensures the cleanest base for the new wax.

You can probably remove enough old wax by washing your car with Dawn.

Another choice for you is P21S Citrus Cleaner. It gracefully removes all old wax and is super easy to use.

Zaino brothers recommends DAWN. It seems to strip off the old wax well for me.
