is this gap below the headlights and the bumper normal? (see photo with pen inserted in gap)
I had a clear bra installed by Premier last week. Beautiful job. The headlights were removed for the install.
At home, this evening, I noticed the gap.
I have a 07 Boxster with slight gap below the lights, enough to collect water after
washing, which I then slide the edge of an Auto Glym synthetic chamois between to dry it. If you're worried, have you tried sliding the lights out using the dedicated tool in your porsche tool kit, and then reinserting them and pushing them all the way back before locking them in place. The tool is inserted into the holes on the inside of the front trunk and is used to reach the clamp at the rear of the lights (see owners manaul).

From your friendly neighborhood Spiderman.
Sorry, I know I didn't contribute anything, but I just had to do that
There SHOULD be a gap for air to help keep the light housings cool, you don't want no gap at all. How much gap is open to interpretation but go look at a brand new Cayman and you'll see the gaps are that way from the factory for a purpose.
Page 271 of the 2007 Owners Manual (available in the files section) has this to say:
Quote:
The headlights can mist up depending on the temperature and humidity.
To ensure optimum ventilation, do not cover the gap between headlight and body (e.g. “stone guards” or films).
