polish remover

I checked with Zaino. He told me that I need an abrasive to remove the Z polish. Recommendations on a product like that?

I'm not a Zaino user but P21S makes a product that will remove almost anything including wax safely. http://www.p21s.com/products/bis_taw.htmlUsing an abrasive would not be my first choice. I used this to remove the dealer applied wax before I waxed the car with P21S Carnauba Wax.

3m adhesive remover will remove wax, bugs, cosmoline, etc. In fact, if it wont remove whatever it is on your car, it shouldnt have been put there in the first place.

Zaino removal requires an abrasive? If so, that stuff will never touch my paint ...

I want to remove it because it has too many swirl marks. I never used a buffer, nor did I rub it in circles. The Zaino never had any effect on the marks.

Zaino is not a wax so it will NOT fill in swirl marks. They do make a product that will help make them less noticeable but if you already have swirl marks then it is the fault of your dealer or something that was used previously. It doesn't require an abrasive, but a harsh detergent or rubbing alcohol will typically get it off, although there really isn't a reason to. Anything you want to fill in the swirl marks could be applied on top of it, or if you have the paint buffed out (the only way to really remove swirl marks which are tiny scratches in your clearcoat/paint) then that process will remove the Zaino.

I would suggest trying another thick paste wax to see if they fill in these swirl marks before I'd turn someone loose with a buffer...

You can use the PS21 Total Wash or Dawn dish washing liquid. If you want to eliminate swirl marks and still want to use Zaino you coulduse their polish, which is called Fusion. If you would like to use use PS21 their Paint Work Cleanser is great, which is a polish/glaze based product and will help you eliminate swirl marks.
