If anyone is looking for a monster size microfiber towel, check out these
25" x 50"
I'm going to use it to dry the car, got enuff little ones to last a lifetime for buffing.
Just a suggestion for the largest microfiber towel I have EVER seen When the wife saw these, she thought I had bought beach towels Yeah right like I'm going to go out and buy towels
Chows let us know how the giant towel works out for drying. I need something better to dry the small towels I have, but am afraid something that big could be too hard to manage. - Suneet
Suneet, I'm sure there lots of alternatives but I get great drying results from the very large Girots Gargage MF towel (the yellow one) and beez swears by the P21S drying towel that I keep meaning to purchase. Drying is critical here because the low humidty means it dries quick or you get water spots.
Thanks santa fe, I will look into those products. I washed my car the other day, and I really couldn't wait until the sun went down a little because my car was bright yellow with pollen and I had soooo many water spots and swirls. I gotta start investing in some good cleaning supplies.

Well, I washed the car this weekend. Actually, the car started to dry pretty quickly but I used one of the big towels and it worked fine. It is BIG. I actually folded it half and just used part of it but that meant I didn't have to keep changing little towels. Worked Great!
In one of my science classes in College I learned about the tension strength of H20 and surfaces. Here is how to greatly reduce the drying time when washing your car. After you do the pressure rinsing of the car, take the hone nozzle off the hose and let the water run in a 3/4 lazy flood of water all over the paint surface making sure to not splash and create more water bubbles. As the water floods over the paint the water will actually pull itself off the paint surface especially on a newly waxed surface. I usually only lightly wipe off maybe 15-20% of the surface, the rest is dry....It works, have done this for years.

WOW ... that is EXACTLY what happened! It turns out that my stupid water nozzle was busted so I had to use a lame head meant for watering flowers. Not powerful at all but a lazy stream. When I went to dry, there was VERY little water left to dry as the car was well waxed.
