Line of dirt along plastic protection
I've noticed the clear protectant things glued in front of the back wheel wells under the vents seem a little hard to clean ) where they contact the metal.

Any suggestions?

Q-Tip
I always get wax residue there and I find that a Q-Tip works nicely to remove it. I'd give that a try to remove the dirt.

Use painters tape when you wax your car to avoid wax buildup. I use detailing spray to clean up any acumulated wax with Q-Tip or microfiber rag.
