Take a look at Tomas' white Cayman S with the body kit if you have any doubts. It is under Absolute Motoring gallery. White with black wheels is awesome, but then again, so is black on black.

I've had both, first an '06 white CS and now an '07 Black one.
Everyone has told me they like it in black much more, except for one person who said they liked the white one. That made me really miss the white one...
I have to say that it looks more agressive and sporty in black, but white shows the classic curves of the design much better. Black is also hell to keep clean, I washed mine yesterday evening and I can already see dust and pollen on it.
I'm glad I went with a black one the second time around because it's something different, but white was always my first color choice, as all my other cars have been white and I just like white cars. Like others have said it's objective, and has a lot to do with which interior you're going to get. I saw white w\ sand beige, and I thought it looked horrible. My car was white with black interior and I loved the contrast.
I love black and the CS looks awesome in black...but after having one, I would never get another black car. For me, I want my car to look good after it's clean. However, with a black car, every bit of dust, dirt, finger prints, etc...show up on it. Based on your poll, I would get white, I think it looks awesome in white...add some black rims and wow . But a black Porsche is classic.
White is easy to keep clean (doesn't show water spots) and is cool in the summer.
Black looks classy but is dusty an hour after you clean it and very hot in the summer.
Stone grey is a very nice interior color, my Boxster had it and I wish my CS did. Black interior is like black exterior, it gets dusty right away. I think any beige interior looks bad.
My first choice was red/beige, but when I got a smokin' offer on an instock black/beige locally, I got that. I've had black cars before so know the routine and cycle of cleanliness. White does look good on certain cars, the Cayman being one of them, but not mu cup of tea.

The Cayman looks great in every color. You can't go wrong. Of the "free" colors: Yellow, White, Red or Black, I think white is the best. I think metallic colors serve the curvey lines of the car better though, so I have a Cobalt Blue car. I think the contrast that white provides to the tires/wheel wells, red callipers, and glass make it a perfect fit for this car. All of this having been said, a "Black" proponent could say the same thing and just substitute the word "black" for "white". Go with your gut.
