Source companies for all the Cayman parts

it's cultural (if you believe it) in my country that for white performance cars, you put at the front door, black-only decals of the suppliers of the parts which make up the car.

Anyway I thought it would be a good exercise to list down the parts suppliers of the major parts in the Cayman. Let me start with what I know.

6-speed manual - Getrag
Clutch -
5-speed tiptronic -
Suspension springs and dampers - Bilstein
PASM suspension -
Pistons -
Crankshaft -
ECU - Bosch
HID headlamp system -
Headlamp Perspex -
Dashboard - VDO/Siemens
Steering Wheel -
Seats -
Pedal Set -
Glass (windscreen etc) -
Brakes -
Wheels -
Others -

There is a picture somewhere around here, either in the gallery or in the files section that shows 50 or so suppliers for the Cayman, I'll have to see if I can locate that again...

Glass is Sekurit from Belgium btw...

Here is the link: http://www.caymanclub.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=49

Slapping on decals and logos of every manufacturer that had something to do with the car is pretty weird and is probably the best way to take away from the natural beauty of the Cayman and make it look lame in my opinion,it's very the fast and the furious

Having said beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that so yeah whatever floats your boat

So what happens when you don't do it? Say you have a white sports car and rebel against the norm. What happens to you and your car?
