I was just wondering how many of you let your wife drive your car. I know this sounds terrible, but it would really bother me to think my wife was off somewhere in my Cayman. I think the onlyway I would allow her to drive it would be with me in the car, but that isn't going to happen because she can't drive a manual.
She has her CRV and I have my Cayman and that has just become an understanding between us. How about the rest of you?
I am actually looking for a driving school for women, so she could learn how to drive manual. I was very envious when I saw wives of several members competing in the autoX. If I could not trust my wife with anything and everything, I would have never married her.

I sure can appreciate your feelings and I wish I could feel the same, but my wife is such a terrible driver. I guess I should also add that my wife is not interested in driving it in the first place, didn't think to mention that till I read Chucko's post.

So I assume she's doing your legal, dental and surgical work for ya too!
btw 'guys', the PC post would read 'spouses, significant others, etc. You have brought great shame on the club......100 pushups for penance from the lot of ya!
Yeppers....mine does....but only when she wants to which isn't very often. And luckily for me, it is usually only when we are on a trip out of the local area. She told me recently that driving it is the only way she can keep up on driving a manual which she does very well.
my wife will drive only when im with her
she knows n i know that she suck at driving... mutual agreement...

I guess if my wife really wanted to drive mine I would have to tolerate it, but she knows how picky I am about EVERYTHING to do with that car and I think she would be too afraid to even try (if she knew how to drive a manual).
We when go out she would rather we take her CRV than the Cayman because she gets very upset with me when I spend so much time trying to find the right parking space.
She has no interest in the car whatsoever. I got her an SL and she doesn't drive it. She prefers our Honda Odyssey because "All of her stuff is in there."
