Its hard to tell them apart unless they are side by side. GT is a bit darker than artic with alittle more grey in it.

GT silver is much richer than Artic. It's like Artic with additional spakles of a hint darker gray and gold.

To be honest someone posted the paint formulas for both Artic and GT on another Porsche board.......they are just different formulas with GT having more grey in it.......nothing really special about it. I believe the metallic content and type is the same also. GT is a great color......butits just the same paint as all the other colors.......but with a higher price tag. I've seen them side by side and they are just different shades of silver. IfGT does 'it' for you.....thenby all means go with it!

sorry should have been more specific, there are actually some GT Silver photos in the Artic silver section, as wel as in the Ibiza launch photos. As others have already said it just is a little darker with a little more grey than Arctic silver. Best to go to your local dealer and see them side by side if you can.

If you are considering a silver for your car, there's another silver that Porsche offers, although I'm not sure what the price tag is, called Polar Silver, which has beautiful undertones of blue in it. It was offered on 993s as an option.
