My salesman called me this morning and told me that 9 of their 30 Caymans at the Brunswick port were delivered to Champion Motors on Monday. Unfortunately mine was not one of them. Furthermore, he could not tell me what day mine would arrive since the transporter could only bring 9 at a time and there was no control on what order they were released.
He called me at 5:30pm today and said he had some bad news and some good news. He said I'm going to give you the bad news first: 'The Transporter just arrived with the next 9 and the computer still shows yours at the port.' The good news is: Your car is Here!

(so much for computers)
I went on several minutes jumping and hollering, and when I finally settled down I asked him what was the next thing I had to do He told me to go change my drawers, and then get ready to go pick up the car tomorrow about 3:00 pm. My dealer reports that PASHA is overwhelmed in San Diego in trying to ship all of the Caymans this week for delivery before Saturday. Maybe I'll get one of these good new bad news calls?
I checked Pasha's shipping schedule and it shows that my boat is on the water, first stop Honolulu. Now let's hope my car is on that boat!
I SURE hope that I can get one of those bad news/ good news calls!!!!!! All I hear is that my car is on US soil....in port. Transportation is another story....

Who was your sales rep Larry Reynolds?
</blockquote>
His name is Scott, and he has been terrific. Every time I called him he would take all the time I wanted on the phone, and would go an extra step beyond my questions to provide information that he had available. He put up with me while all along showing a sincere appreciation and understanding of my enthusiasm about this car.
Today, though, I was caught a little off guard with his bad news-good news prank. All in all, however, his call got him an extra 50 on his tip. Well worth it.
